How to further improve the surface quality of Dalian die-casting parts?
In today's fiercely competitive manufacturing industry, the surface quality of Dalian die-casting parts has become one of the key factors that make products stand out. To further improve the surface quality of die-casting parts, it is necessary to start from multiple aspects.
As the "matrix" of die-casting, the quality of molds is very important. On the one hand, it is necessary to adopt mold manufacturing processes such as ultra precision grinding, chemical etching, etc., to achieve a near mirror finish on the surface of the mold cavity, so that the liquid metal can fully replicate the flatness of the cavity during die casting, reducing surface ripples, strains, and other problems. On the other hand, optimizing the thermal balance system of the mold, by reasonably arranging the cooling water channels, ensures that the temperature of each part of the mold is uniform during the die-casting process, avoiding uneven solidification of the metal liquid caused by local overheating or undercooling, resulting in defects such as shrinkage and cold lines that affect the surface quality.
The precise control of Dalian die-casting process parameters is the core link. The injection pressure needs to be finely adjusted according to the shape and wall thickness of the casting. Excessive pressure can easily cause burrs and burrs, while insufficient pressure may result in insufficient filling; The filling speed should be moderate, too slow will cause cold insulation, and too fast will cause turbulence, trapping gas and forming pores. At the same time, the holding time and cooling time should be scientifically set to ensure that the casting is continuously stressed and uniformly cooled during the solidification process, prevent deformation and shrinkage, and improve surface density.
The control of raw materials cannot be ignored. Ensuring the purity of the molten metal and strictly removing impurities and oxides can prevent it from becoming a "trigger" for surface defects during casting in Dalian. In addition, adding trace elements such as magnesium, titanium, etc. appropriately can improve the fluidity and solidification characteristics of the metal liquid, helping to obtain a smoother casting surface.
In the subsequent processing stage, mild chemical cleaning, fine vibration grinding and other processes are used to remove fine surface defects without damaging the existing good surface, improving the appearance quality of die-casting parts and enhancing their market competitiveness.
